ITS ALL OVER!!!

strange though. i wasnt that excited as i thought i would be when the invigilator said times up.
i realised it was the last time i was wearing the beige (and not very flattering) uniform and just being in school as a hwachong student. no more tutorials, no more secretly popping food into our mouths, no more ct sessions, no more homework..and no more early mornings at the classbench rushing hw. hahah i cant believe jc life has zoomed past just like that.

now i wished everything would go by slower...

had cca farewell last saturday. i guess i felt more of happiness and relief to pass on the baton, though it was quite she bu de too. the past 1 year plus felt looooooooong yet short. ahahah cliche, i know. but thats the truth. i think my job was made exciting by certain people : ) and i do thank them for that.

our hccd juniors are fabulous.

the day started off with me waking up to a persistent fever and sore throat which made me sound like a toad. and that deprived me of the much needed run and dance prac which i had been looking forward to since blocks. you have NO IDEA how much fats had deposited on/in me man. its was quite sad to fall out of training when that session was my last as an official exco member. today as i type this i feel like a retired dancer with a lousy physique :(

hmm but it was quite enjoyable to see the other dancers train. (okay i admit i was sniggering at them doing pt) glad to see how much the j1s have improved since day 1, and to see that they were not as afraid of him anymore. i remember how horrified i was last year, fortunately my ultimate expressionless+dao face managed to cover up the fear in me. it WAS that horrible at first, hahahaha. and that just reminded me that we have a solo project due. eiughqoiuthoqyroiqyt

after training finished the j1s slipped away from the studio with evil grins on their faces. we all knew they were up to no good, which the amazing race later proved us right. (we had to trek from salt to peblk to coro to macritchie and finally yiochukang oohlala) and we totally surprised at the sight of them bbq-ing food for us at a nicely decorated pavillion in reb's condo. awwww.
and YES! WE WERE THE QUEENS for the night. :) -quotes my shirt-
following that 91729012752190941905 plates of food appeared on our table.& the rest is history : p

that night was the first time all the j2s sat down to have a nice chat with zhanglaoshi. she is freaking cool, seriously : )

to the j1s, size does not matter, we believe you will do hccd proud :)

wooo. the events that i've been looking forward to have all gone past in a flash. i wished they were'nt over yet.

kitty's used-to-be fun & happening life has been infected by the study-for-blocks bug. GREAT.

hmm took this personality test from ping's blog.
its scarily 90% true.
it says that im a GT. :/

"In their work, Groundbreaking Thinkers highly rate challenges and diversified tasks. They cannot stand routine and too detailed work. They love to astound others with bold ideas for an original, new project and then leave it up to the others to implement them. Hierarchies, rules and regulations arouse their opposition and they love outsmarting the system. It is vital to them that they enjoy their work; if this is the case, they quickly become pure workaholics. Their creativity best takes effect when they work independently; but they are very good at motivating others and infecting them with their optimistic nature. Conceptual or advisory activities appeal especially to Groundbreaking Thinkers. It can happen that some people feel somewhat duped by their flexible, spontaneous nature.Their sociability and enterprise ensure that Groundbreaking Thinkers always have a large circle of friends and acquaintances in which activity plays an important role. As they are mostly in a good mood, they are popular and very welcome guests. Grumbling and peevishness are unknown to them. However, they do tend to be a little erratic and unstable when it comes to obligations and this makes them appear to be unreliable to some.

Groundbreaking Thinkers are very critical and demanding when it comes to picking a partner because they look for the ideal relationship (haha) and have a very concrete picture of this ideal relationship. Mutual aims in life are very important to them. They do not like compromising and would rather remain alone. For the partner, it is often a challenge to have a long-term relationship with a Groundbreaking Thinker. Groundbreaking Thinkers need a lot of space and diversity or otherwise they become bored and feel cramped. Types who are rather more traditionalistic often have problems with the willingness of Groundbreaking Thinkers to take risks and their often crazy, spontaneous actions. However, if one can summon up sufficient flexibility and tolerance for them, one will never be bored in their presence and will always have a loyal and faithful partner."

i've changed, but deep down its still the same

happened to come across the pictures taken at countdown 2008. seeing the happy smiles from the 5 of us made my boring and hfjksfkahfkah day brighter : )

fireworks never fail to amaze me. ever so pretty and captivating. whose heart doesn't melt at the sight of fireworks? (ok maybe __, he thinks fireworks are silly and meaningless>:( ) nevertheless, they are very much shortlived. i guess they depart without a tinge of sadness, since they won the audience's hearts within that very few seconds.

life is short too. yeah thats what everyone says. maybe we should learn from those pretty things with a short lifespan, to shine and make an impact while we live our own. live with no more regrets, people.

today was the release of alevels results.

so happy for the dancers who did well :) especially wufan.
hahah yea, just as her name suggests, shes 'not ordinary' in a good sense.

i still remember last year, when she led hccd through syf and dance night. in fact she was the one who made chidance's first dance night possible. her determination and passion for dance and everything else she did struck me real hard, i felt i had to contribute more. it is really amazing to think of how she had managed to cope with her studies, h3 and other commitments during the competition and dancenight period, when we had trainings everyday for q a few weeks....
she played her role well, and now it's my turn.

im pretty glad things have fallen into a system that everyone's comfortable with, but seriously, im still rather doubtful of my capabilities. sometimes i wonder if it is the way i communicate with the dancers. am i too friendly? or am i too .. well i dont know. all i can say is there is still
much much more room for improvement, and i gotta work hard.

even though i dont think shes going to see this, CONGRATULATIONS WUFAN!
thanks alot for the encouragements and guidance in the past year :)

wow so this is my first post in my very very deserted blog.
it has been almost two years.

the past one year in hwachong was filled with laughter, tears, stress, worries, unexpected encounters, traffic jams along bukit timah road, bruises, performances and wonderful friends.
i must especially mention the fun-tastic 07s68!! and of course HCCD : D

hahah okay this is totally not enough for a summary of last year. i'll do so on the course of blogging in future (hopefully its consistent).

last day of term 1 tmr! badminton badminton :)
